Who I am and how I got started
I am a Ski Cross athlete who’s second home is with the snow and on the mountains. I was introduced to skiing at four years of age, and as a young athlete my strengths were spread across a range of sports – particularly athletics and tennis. But it was skiing that won me over and I’ve never looked back. At the age of 21, after a successful alpine career, I decided to switch codes and pursue the action-packed, competitive world of ski cross. My goal is to compete at the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics in Russia and I’m currently on the NZ Olympic long-list team. I have also balancing study with the University of Canterbury and am completing a finance degree.

Three words that best describe me
Eager
Determined
Enjoyment

Why I use Formthotics
Formthotics provide more control, power and speed. A good set up really can give you the edge in racing. It’s a vital part of ski racing, it’s the connection between your body and the snow. They also improve the comfort of my boots which helps with fatigue and recovery. I wouldn’t ski without them.

When I think of Formthotics…
I think of a competitive edge

A perfect days goes like this…
There is no better feeling after a great day on the mountain – feeling completely satisfied and connected to the magnificence of mother-nature.

Three things on my bucket list
The Olympics
Run a marathon
Skydive
